Quentin Tarantino<\/strong> is a writer and filmmaker who broke to fame with his 1992 crime film Reservoir Dogs<\/strong>. He met Robert Rodriguez<\/strong> on the festival circuit that year and they have since been friends and frequent collaborators. In 1996 they brought his script for From Dusk Till Dawn<\/strong><\/a> to life, earlier they had directed episodes of Four Rooms<\/strong><\/a>. Quentin Tarantino filmed a sequence in Sin City<\/strong><\/a>, and they both brought Grindhouse<\/strong><\/a> to the movie theaters in 2007. The film flopped, but the experience has shaped their further work and has in fact spawned imitations and led to Machete<\/strong><\/a> standing on its own as a franchise starring Danny Trejo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
