Quentin Tarantino

Quentin Tarantino is a writer and filmmaker who broke to fame with his 1992 crime film Reservoir Dogs. He met Robert Rodriguez on the festival circuit that year and they have since been friends and frequent collaborators. In 1996 they brought his script for From Dusk Till Dawn to life, earlier they had directed episodes of Four Rooms. Quentin Tarantino filmed a sequence in Sin City, and they both brought Grindhouse to the movie theaters in 2007. The film flopped, but the experience has shaped their further work and has in fact spawned imitations and led to Machete standing on its own as a franchise starring Danny Trejo.
